Many, many months ago, I informed you guys about an indie genre effort called OF SILENCE that was on its way towards getting made. Jeremiah Sayys (who played the “Grey Shirt Zombie” in ZOMBIE STRIPPERS), is handling writing, directing, co-producing and starring duties. That sure is one heavy load, so it’s nice to see today that at least the dude now has some company. In fact, he’s got some damn gorgeous company. Observe:
The lovely Masiela Lusha (BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE, right) has just been cast to play Sayys’ wife in the flick. Excellent choice, my friend. And Ms. Lusha did not come alone (heaven forbid). She is accompanied by other new cast members Muse Watson (who will play Sayys’ father) and Paul Cuneo (who will play Miskit, a debt collector). Now, let’s have a look at the plot everybody will be involved in:
The story centers on a scuba-diving instructor who’s life is falling apart. An inner-ear condition prevents him from teaching, so his business dries up and mounting bills and debts are closing in, all while he must cope with the suicide of his ex-wife. The pressure causes him to isolate himself, and soon he experiences strange events which may be linked to a world beyond our own.
As of now, OF SILENCE is looking at a 2010 release.
