There was some footage shown from Joe Dante’s THE HOLE 3D at the San Diego Comic-Con. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, I wasn’t able to check that shit out. I’m still kicking myself about it today, but lucky for us… the OFFICIAL teaser poster has been released for the film, and is it me or does the poster feel like it’s in 3D?
There have been similar posters released for this bitch (like THIS ONE), but where the cellar door has been locked up before, this here features the door open and the hole gaping… hence the 3D look and feel.
Regardless of not seeing any footage yet, I still really want to check this out. It’s from Joe Dante, it’ in 3D… hell ,that’s all I need. Plus, it has a cool story: A pair of brothers stumble upon a mysterious hole in their basement that leads to the darkest corridors of their fears and nightmares. Seriously, what’s not to love here?
Starring Teri Polo (below), Haley Bennett, and Bruce Dern, the film is shaping up to be quite the 2010 release. Enjoy the new poster, and stick around for more on Dante’s THE HOLE 3D as we hear it!
