A poster for Jeremy Berg's THE INVOKING has been making the rounds today so I thought I'd pass it along to you guys to see what you think. The poster isn't exactly going to drop any jaws, but it's decent enough despite whatever the hell that thing is in the window (on the left). I've been staring at that shit for a good five minutes and I'm no closer to figuring out what it is. Is it supposed to be a girl with a freakishly large head and hands? If so then they nailed it! Anyways, onto the good stuff! THE INVOKING caught my attention from its intriguing set-up which goes something like this:
After inheriting a house from the family she never knew, Samantha Harris (Trin Miller) and three friends head to rural Sader Ridge to inspect the property. Soon after arriving, Sam begins to experience horrific visions of savage brutality and unspeakable evil. Plagued by the sinister forces closing in around her, Sam descends into a waking nightmare when the demons from her past refuse to stay buried any longer.
