One day, we will have a Saw 8 according to Lionsgate vice-chairman

In Hollywood when someone says they are done with a franchise, don’t count on it. Especially not something like SAW.

But I really thought they were done with all that. Nope. Why would I even think such a silly thing? There’s nothing set in stone, only a quote from Lionsgate Vice Chairman Michael Burns. What did this Michael Burns have to say? “I’m sure, some day, you’ll see Saw back in the picture.”

Okay, so that’s not exactly a firm commitment but it lets you know that Lionsgate would like to see more from their horror cash cow. However, when Shock Til Ya Drop last spoke to the film’s producers they said that they would not feel comfortable making anymore installments unless they heard a pitch that blew their minds.

I feel comfortable knowing the producers said that. I know a few of you really enjoy the franchise. The idea was really innovative in my opinion, but I feel like they just drove it into the ground.
