Season 3 of the “action-adventure mystery teen drama” Outer Banks will be reaching the Netflix streaming service on February 23rd, and a trailer has arrived online today to give us a look at what this new season has in store for us. Check it out in the embed above!

Created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, Outer Banks is set on the islands of the same name off the coast of North Carolina and southeastern Virginia, as well as in the Bahamas. The series follows a tight-knit group of local teens (who call themselves Pogues) struggling to come to terms with the death of their friends after a treasure hunt goes wrong. Some of the characters are also on the run in the Bahamas and back on the trail of gold while the stakes for the rest of the group escalate at home. $400 million is on the line as a newfound secret reunites the group for a new mission in uncharted waters.

The Hollywood Reporter let us know that in season 3, the underdog clique discovers that a peaceful life on their newfound desert paradise, nicknamed “Poguelandia,” won’t last long. With a coveted golden idol putting them back on the treasure hunt, the pals find themselves again on the run from Ward and Rafe, although the nefarious father-son pair seem to have friction of their own.

Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Charles Esten, Drew Starkey, Carlacia Grant, Andy McQueen, Charles Halford, Fiona Palomo, and Lou Ferrigno Jr. star.
