Uber-cutie Danielle Panabaker (FRIDAY THE 13TH) is currently off shooting her next genre flick, the remake of George Romero’s THE CRAZIES. Apparently, the film has got its own crazy little page on Twitter (just like your buds at AITH). And Ms. Panabaker, herself, decided to post a bit of cool info on the page (I believe you young folks call it “tweeting”). Well, here’s what that pretty bird tweeted:

Hey its Danielle Panabaker- got my hands on the twitter blackberry! Working at the car wash, accidentally got hit with a rifle today- yikes!

Okay, that wasn’t exactly an extremely long, detailed report, but I believe Ms. P. summed it up nicely. Since I never saw the original CRAZIES, I don’t know if a car wash factors heavily into the proceedings or if the filmmakers are merely using an actual car wash to double as some kind of decontamination center for the flick. Regardless, it’s nice to see Danielle tweeting out to the fans. And yes, that pic up top is from the flick. It’s some sort of sinister barn with a military chopper parked to the left.

The flick opens September 25, 2009 from director Breck Eisner. Here is the crazy plot: The inhabitants of a small Kansas town who are beset by death and insanity after a plane crash lets loose a secret biological weapon into the water supply.

Panabaker (below) plays a receptionist at the town’s medical center and Timothy Olyphant stars as the town sheriff.
