No, not the space pioneer. Not unless dude’s typing from the grave…

Instead, it’s EAGLE EYE screenwriter John Glenn who has been brought in by Paramount to retool their new sci-fi alien thriller, ABDUCTED. Word comes from Deadline, which posits the story centers around an alien abduction of a group of average Americans who decide to take on the aliens and battle their way off the extraterrestrial craft.

Not much else is known about the film, so I’ll continue with Glenn’s resume. Dude wrote THE LAZARUS PROJECT (which he also directed), TV movies DRIFT and IDENTITY, and early drafts of CLASH OF THE TITANS. A small sample size, but at least we know he’s gravitated toward genre material. Can’t front on that!

But what of ABDUCTED? Sound too rote or has there been a long enough void for this type of film to get excited about? Lace a few bullets below!
