A new poster for the upcoming indie flick PARANORMAL ACTIVITY made its way up over at STYD this morning, and while it may not blow your skirt up or anything, it’s almost compelling enough to make you wanna check the flick out–for curiosity’s sake, if nothing else.
Rocking not one but two taglines (“What Happens When You Sleep?” and “Don’t See It Alone”), the poster features one of the prominent images from the film of the couple in bed as they record themselves sleeping in hopes to catch a glimpse of the paranormal activity going on in their house. The image doesn’t strike me as all that impressive, but for those wanting another BLAIR WITCH experience, it may be just enough to make ya wanna see it.
Written and directed by Oren Peli, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY goes like this: After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban ‘starter’ tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep.
Creepy? Moody? Terrifying? I haven’t seen it, but that’s the word on the street. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to check this sucker out in theaters when it hits select screens nationwide September 25th. To check out the full poster, click HERE.
