Paul Dano (right, THERE WILL BE BLOOD) is in talks to join LOOPER. The impressive cast already features Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt (below), and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Plot details are scarce, but here’s what we know so far:

LOOPER is centered on a group of killers who send bodies of their victims back in time.

The sci-fi/thriller is written and directed by Rian Johnson. Endgame Entertainment is financing the production, which is set to begin lensing in Louisiana next year.

This is shaping up to be a good one. I look forward to the reteaming of BRICK duo Johnson and Gordon-Levitt (who will play a man sent back in time to kill himself), as well as Willis’ return to time travel after the awesome 12 MONKEYS, and you won’t hear me complain about watching Emily Blunt.
