Peep a funny behind-the-scenes featurette for Quentin Dupieux’s Rubber!

For a premise so damn outlandish, Quentin Dupieux’s killer-tire flick RUBBER seems largely embraced by the late-night film-going community. Funny, perverse, downright absurd, the film has – like HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN – parlayed it’s novelty into something greater, something far more respected. So with that in mind, I’m pretty stoked to relay a pretty entertaining behind-the-scenes featurette for the RUBBER. If for no other reason, cop a look at how cute Roxane Mesquida appears…

RUBBER is the story of Robert, an inanimate tire that has been abandoned in the desert, and suddenly and inexplicably comes to life. As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move. At first content to wreak havoc on small desert creatures and various lost items, his attention soon turns to humans.
