With SHUTTER ISLAND the reigning box-office king, and given our recent feature on the Top Ten Asylum flicks, I’d say a new clip from Andre Shortell’s creepy hospital horror effort PSYCH 9 is quite well timed.

Besides, we’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Michael Biehn and Cary Elwes in the same film has the potential to be so awesomely bad, we’d all be utterly remiss if we failed to watch the sumbitch. And then of course, there’s the smokin’ Sara Foster who takes center stage in this new, brief look at the film below.

Marking the feature length debut for Shortell and writing partner Lawrence Robinson (PULL), PSYCH 9 revolves around:

An unstable young woman who secures a job working nights at a recently closed hospital to collate all the hardcopy patient records. Working alone in the building after dark, she experiences a series of unsettling events that lead her to believe the hospital maybe connected to a number of recent murders. To uncover the truth, she has to solve the mystery of her own disturbing past.

Gabriel Mann, Colleen Camp (love her), Winter Ave Zoli, Susie Amy, Katherine Shanklin, Brian Caspe, Stephen Fisher, Ryan James, Joel Kirby and Kendrick Ong level out the supporting cast.

For other PSYCH 9 goodies, I recommend visiting the Official Site for the film HERE. It’s actually pretty damn cool!

If I die, can I come back as Sara Foster’s underoos?!?
