If you ever wondered what Tom Cruise might look like as a one-eyed Nazi, today’s your lucky day. The first official pics from Bryan Singer’s VALKYRIE are online today that show Cruise in full regalia as well as a shot showing the similarities between him in costume and his real-life counterpart. Singer is currently filming the project in Prague with Patrick Wilson, Bill Nighy, Kenneth Branagh and Tom Wilkinson co-starring. That’s an awfully British cast for a movie about Germans. The film follows “Operation Valkyrie” a top secret German initiative that was to plan for life after Hitler. Cruise plays Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg who is chosen to lead the program and eventually assassinate Hitler.
