Lore

Inspired by Aaron Mahnke's popular podcast of the same name, the horror anthology series Lore made its premiere on Amazon back in October of 2017, with a second season following in October of 2018. If you're a fan of the show who has been hoping that a third season would be coming along this year, Amazon has some bad news for you: Lore has been cancelled.

A Valhalla Entertainment and Propagate Content production, Lore used a mixture of reenactments, animation, narration, and historical documents and footage to dig into

the real-life frightening and disturbing tales that have given rise to our modern-day myths and legends.

The series was executive produced by Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens, Gale Anne Hurd, Brett-Patrick Jenkins, Jon Halperin, and Mark Mannucci. Mahnke was co-executive producer.

Over the course of its two seasons, Lore episodes featured such subject matter as icepick lobotomies, changelings, haunted houses, werewolves, Robert the doll, Burke and Hare, Elizabeth Bathory, witches, and demons.
