Prank posters!

Earlier this month, the brilliant JimmyO visited the set for the upcoming horror anthology PRANK. You can check out his in-depth account here. I am more than a little excited about this flick (as you can read here.), which means I was sporting a metaphorical horror-geek chubby when I caught sight of its first two concept posters (above and below) posted by producer Anthony Masi on his MySpace page!

I must say that having everyone’s favorite three horror heroines, Danielle Harris, Heather Langenkamp, & Ellie Cornell, clutching an array of deadly wepons from knives to a noose is killer! I’m also liking that tagline: THREE TALES OF TERROR FROM THOSE WHO KNOW IT BEST. The whole project just screams “horror fun”!

So far of the three tales, here are the known plot points: In one story, a group of friends are playing a game where they dial seven-letter names. One girl dials her own name and reaches a guy who decides to turn the tables on her. In the second, a woman is waiting for her boyfriend to come home. Things start happening, paranoia sets in and then the phone rings… The third is set at a ’60s-themed murder-mystery party, where people really start dying and the killer turns out to be somebody from one of the partygoers’ past. The wraparound concerns an editor and cub reporter doing research late at night who come upon these stories. Of course, something will happen to them as well. I’m really hoping the next article we post on PRANK involves either a teaser trailer or possible release date.
