Premonition Poster

A few months ago we caught the first look of the trailer for Sandra Bullock’s latest dip into psychological horror, PREMONITION, co-starring Julian McMahon. Today we have the first official poster for the flick, and all I can say is… cool?

While it’s definitely creative and I’m pretty sure we haven’t seen a poster like this before, I also kind of find it insulting… since when is seeing Sandy’s face in the tree’s a premonition? And since when do trees collide together to revealed a face like that? If I were walking down the street, looked up and saw that face, I’d probably decide that dropping acid on a regular basis was a bad idea, and run home screaming.

But I will give it props for it not being a ‘floating heads’ poster, and for originality… maybe a glimpse of what’s to come from the film itself? I hope so, as Bullock here needs something to vamp her career again, and let’s face it… McMahon’s a flippin’ pimp, and it’s always nice to see him rockin’ the big screen.

Be sure to hit up PREMONITION this spring, as it hits theaters everywhere March 16th, 2007.
