With AFM in full swing, we’re going to start seeing lots and lots of small, blurry promo posters for flicks that are months – or years – away from actually being realized. I know, exciting… Most of these are obviously just used to sell the flick to international buyers, so ultimately the final one-sheet will look much different. However, it’s still semi-interesting to peep art from films we’re keeping an eye on, and that’s what we’ve got for you right here…
Here’s the promo sheet for Darren Lynn Bousman’s 11-11-11, which is the director’s next project. Obviously, it’s nothing to get too nutty about, but hell, we’ll take it. (Seems to be taking a page out of SE7EN’s playbook, no?)
Here’s the basic idea behind 11-11-11: The 11:11 movement is centered on the emergence of that number in people’s lives that alerts them to angels or spirit guardians trying to communicate with them. Conspiracy theorists also point to the number 11’s involvement in historical events. 11 11 11 will take on the idea of 11 gates of Heaven and how on 11:11 on the 11th day of the 11th month, the 11th gate will open up and something from another world will enter the earthly realm for 49 minutes.
We’ll let you know once 11-11-11 really gains some steam.
