What a day for PUMPKINHEAD! Today we got official news that not only are they making another PUMPKINHEAD movie, but they’re makine two back to back!
Fangoria scored the first scoop this morning, announcing that EVIL ALIENS director Jake West will be helming PART 3 in Romania in a few weeks. Wow, that was quick! Gotta say I like the choice for director here, as EVIL ALIENS looks like a great show.To check out the whole article click HERE.
Just when we thought that was it Bloody-Disgusting dropped another bomb on us, naming Mike Hurst (HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2) as director of PART 4. Now, the two are filming back to back, with PART 3 hitting the Sci-Fi channel this October, and PART 4 debuting a year later in October 2007. That’s quite a space between the two, but enough time to release the uncut DVD version of PART 3 right before PART 4 airs on TV. Nice.
No casting news as of yet, but we do know that Lance f*cking Henriksen will appear in both films as a ghost of his former character. Ok, that’s kinda weird, but regardless, I’m glad he’s coming back!
So there you have it folks, PUMPKINHEAD is coming back with a vengeance, and about goddamn time too! Stay tuned for more casting news over the next couple of weeks, and prepare for more HEAD!
