Punisher update

JoBloJoBlo

Fit filmmaking fox Lexi Alexander is finishing up her directing work on THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE, the non-sequel featuring Marvel’s vengeance-fueled vigilante (he’s not a psychopath, he’s just motivated).

Alexander has posted a brief update about the progress at her site. Not a lot of new information about the flick — they’re doing pick-up shots, it’s cold, people had babies, Lexi likes fine wine and cheese. Punisher comic cover artist extraordinaire Tim Bradstreet fully approves of the look of the movie so far, which is certainly a positive. And perhaps most importantly, Alexander posted some new (if teenytiny) pics of star Ray Stevenson as the costumed crime destroyer. Hope your browser’s zoom feature works!

The movie opens in September and has the skull-shirted Frank Castle battling with disfigured mobster Jigsaw. Check out the update at her site RIGHT HERE.
