Quentin Tarantino is taking a page from Guillermo Del Toro and telling fans that a long awaited project will in fact not becoming a reality.

In an interview with We Got This Covered, Tarantino was asked about his proposed third entry in the KILL BILL saga. His answer was “I don’t know if there’s ever going to be a Kill Bill. Vol 3. We’ll see, probably not though.”

Tarantino had always said he wanted to revisit The Bride years later, possibly focusing on the daughter of Vernita Green coming back to avenge her mother’s death. But, with his recent claims that he has retirement on his mind, Tarantino may be more likely to focus on original stories and projects rather than go back to completed films. It took a long time before he rules out THE VEGA BROTHERS and now it seems KILL BILL will not get a final chapter to make it a trilogy.
