I’m always up for a new, original genre flick. They don’t come around often so when they do we almost have to take notice, right? Right.

So with that being said I’m here today to tell you all about a flick called SPELL, which, according to Variety, Radar Pictures are putting together with Dobre Films and scribes Ari Margolis and James Morley III. Described as a ‘horror/thriller,’ SPELL’s rundown reads a little something like this:

“Spell” centers on a young couple who wake up with no memory of the first night of their tropical vacation. As they piece together the events of the night before, they discover they were the victims of a sadistic voodoo ritual, spurring a desperate quest for a cure for the horrific illness now afflicting them.

Voodoo huh? I can dig it. That’s pretty much all we’ve got on SPELL right now but you can bet we’ll be keeping you guys up to date with this one as more news flows our way.
