We couldn’t believe it when we heard that Uwe Boll, infamous director of such video game adaptations as HOUSE OF THE DEAD and BLOODRAYNE, actually started challenging his biggest critics to a three round boxing match to settle the score. Not only did he challenge critics to a boxing match, but he also offered to film the match so it will appear in his latest film POSTAL. When no one took the bait and it looked like Boll was only going to be fighting 13 year old girls, we thought it was over… but we were wrong.
Now the fight has a sponsor, and Boll has 5 challengers who have stepped up to throw a punch! Picked up by the Internet casino GoldenPalace.com (not to be confused with GoldenShowers.com), the same site who sold William Shatner’s kidney stone a while back, the fight now has a name: GoldenPalace.com Presents Raging Boll!
But wait… it gets better. How, you ask? Check out challenger Carlos Palencia Jiménez-Argüello from Madrid, Spain in KILL BOLL, his very own promotion of the fight. If you’re having a bad day, just watch this video- it’ll put a smile on your face!
Other challengers include the webmaster of SomethingAwful.com, a writer for AICN, Rue Morgue Magazine and a freelance Web Critic. If you thought it would never happen… well, guess again! It looks like it’s on!
To check out more of the craziness, head over to SKEWED & REVIEWED for all the details, and prepare for RAGING BOLL to throw down in the ring September 23rd in Vancouver, BC.
