Raven Banner has acquired world sales rights to Pablo Larcuen’s feature debut HOOKED UP, apparently the world’s first ever feature film totally shot with an iPhone. We last wrote up the flick when the trailer was released back in October.

Jaume Collet-Serra and Juan Sola are executive producing through their Ombra Films banner.

The story follows two young Americans who go on a sex-fuelled trip to Barcelona but things take an unexpected turn when one of the ‘hot’ girls they pick up turns out to be incarnate of evil.

Larcuen’s short film, Mi Amigo Invisible (aka My Invisible Friend) was an official selection at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, and won Best International Short Film at the Los Angeles Film Festival. His other short, Elefante, won the award for Best Short Film at the Sitges Film Festival in 2012.

Flick doesn’t look too bad – or at least, no worse than your average found footage thriller. The iPhone angle is somewhat unnecessary, since quality-wise it appears to be about on par with the rest of it’s brethren.
