So THE REAPING, at least for me, is turning into a highly anticipated film. The TV spots have come out and it is looking creepy. The film is based on the Ten Biblical plagues, and in the TV spots we see a few of them at work. The locusts flying around and knocking folks down is a nice touch I think.
In the film Hilary “I win an Oscar every 4 years or so” Swank plays a former Christian missionary who lost her faith once her family was tragically killed. Furthermore, she has become a world famous figure at disproving religion. But when a small Louisiana town starts experiencing what appears to be the ten Biblical plagues, her faith starts to make a return.
