Well folks way back in August we told you how Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero’s [REC] 2 had scored a DVD release date in the UK, but we still had no idea when it’d be hitting us folks here in the US.
Now it’s been a vicious 9 months but we’ve finally got word on when this little diddy will be reaching the US. About time huh? Courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment [REC] 2 will be hitting DVD shelves across the country on July 12th! Now that’s still a couple months away but hey, at least we know when we’ll get to see this shite now!
The highly anticipated sequel to one of the scariest films of all time, [REC] 2 picks up 15 minutes from where we left off, taking us back into the quarantined apartment building where a terrifying virus runs rampant. What they find inside lies beyond the scope of medical science – a demonic nightmare more terrifying than they could possibly imagine.
