Red band trailer hits for Gunn / McLean’s The Belko Experiment

The Belko Experiment James Gunn Greg McLean

Last year, James Gunn did something cool on his Facebook page where, over a series of posts, he personally announced many of the cast members that were signing on for THE BELKO EXPERIMENT, a movie he wrote and produced (with Peter Safran) for Greg McLean to direct. Gunn announced a staggering number of stars because they had to populate a whole office building to properly tell the story.

The cast includes John Gallagher Jr., Tony Goldwyn, Adria Arjona, Michael Rooker, Melonie Diaz, John C. McGinley, Sean Gunn, Owain Yeoman, David Dastmalchian, Gail Bean, Valentine Miele, Steve Agee, Josh Brener, David Del Rio, Stephen Blackehart, Rusty Schwimmer, James Earl, Brent Sexton, Mikaela Hoover, Joe Fria, Benjamin Byron Davis, Abraham Benrubi, and Cindy Better. The story they all joined together to help tell:

An American company in South America is mysteriously sealed off at the beginning of a workday, its employees ordered to kill each other or be killed themselves. This starts an escalation of violence, where we discover the true nature of each and every Belko employee.

Thanks to the newly released red band trailer, we now have a look at the results of this large scale collaboration, and things are looking really good. Gunn and McLean took that cast, dropped them into a nightmarish "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation, and then made that situation get very intense and violent.

The full results of THE BELKO EXPERIMENT will be on display when Orion and BH Tilt release the film into theatres on March 17, 2017.

Our own Chris Bumbray was lucky enough to see it a few months ago and gave it a 7/10 review.
