Red carpet: Z.land!

I have just returned from the weirdest red carpet ever. Oh sure, we had the usual celebs looking fancy and answering questions about the film. But this red carpet was for ZOMBIELAND. There was no way they weren’t going to pack it with crazy people covered in fake blood. We got to talk to Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg (who I’m finally convinced is not Michael Cera in a wig), director Ruben Fleischer, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick…even Mr. “I’d rather be at the dentist then do press” Woody Harrelson.

We also got some weird kid in zombie makeup making strange Michael Jackson jokes, zombie princess, zombie Nixon, zombie Lincoln (some sort of odd political message?) zombie cheerleader…you get the picture. And across from us? A giant group of zombie fans, including zombie Gene Simmons. Well, that tongue is definitely not human. Check out what we saw and what they all had to say about the coolest film I’ve seen in a looong time.

By the way, the red carpet wasn’t the only weird part of the evening. As we walked down Hollywood Blvd. to take our places in the press line, Rusty (our super cool camera guy) and I were boxed in by a group singing Hare Krishnas on one side and the zombie fans on the other. After we got free, we watched as the Krishnas sang and danced with a guy dressed in a Snoopy costume. No, I wasn’t stoned. I swear.
