Red trailer!

Here’s the trailer for RED, the long-awaited adaptation of Jack Ketchum’s novel of the same name. Magnolia will be distributing the Lucky McKee co-directed film on AUGUST 8th (in L.A. and N.Y. for starters).

Let me WARN YOU that the trailer surprisingly dips into major spoiler territory toward the end, so if you simply don’t want to know anything about the tale’s twists and turns, you’ll be proceeding at your own risk by clicking play.

I actually just saw the film at a screening a few days ago, and my review will hit the site soon, so keep an eye out! (I promise to be less-spoilery than the trailer.)

The thriller (word used lightly) stars Brian Cox as a man seeking justice for the senseless murder of his dog. Tom Sizemore (looking like he’s living through the world’s worst hangover) and Kim Dickens co-star.
