Release Changes

Not that this is going to throw your year off or anything catastrophic like that, but there are a few release date changes for some upcoming flicks you might want to be aware of.



The first, Warner Bros.’ A SOUND OF THUNDER, based on the Ray Bradbury classic story of why time traveling for the sake of hunting dinosaurs is a bad idea, will be released this August, instead of the original March 11th date. Directed by Peter Hyams (THE RELIC), and starring Edward Burns, Ben Kingsley and Catherine McCormack, THUNDER sounds fun, no matter when they decide to release it.

Renny Harlin’s MINDHUNTERS is also being pushed back from it’s original March 11th date, to May 13th (Friday the 13th…). Starring Val Kilmer, LL Cool J and Christian Slater, MINDHUNTERS is the hunt of a serial killer by FBI trainees on a remote island, with lots of clues and mysteries to solve along the way. I remember this trying to be released a long time ago, but it keeps getting pushed back. Don’t know what that says about it, but check out the trailer HERE, and tell me you haven’t already figured it out.

THUNDER looks the coolest out of these two, but I’m a sucker for Renny Harlin films, so I’ll be there for MINDHUNTERS no matter what.
