FAST 8, the next entry in the Fast and Furious film franchise, is expected to head into production soon for its April 14, 2017 release with STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON's F. Gary Gray behind the camera, and there's been talk that the FURIOUS 7 sequel will be the first installment of a series-ending trilogy. Late last night, star Vin Diesel took to Instagram to announce that currently untitled ninth and tenth Fast and Furious movies will arrive in theaters on April 19, 2019 and April 2, 2021.

Obviously at this point we have no clue what Dominic Toretto and his gang will be up to in the next three films, but last week we learned that FAST 8 will feature Iceland's largest explosion ever, with filming also taking place in New York City and possibly Cuba.

While the main series of F&F movies will likely wrap up with the tenth installment, it probably won't be the end of the franchise since Universal is also developing spinoff movies, and Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs character might be the focus of one of them. Are you ready for more Fast and Furious flicks, or do you think the studio should tap the breaks on the franchise?
