There were a few new release dates announced this week, some that will have you scratching your head, but mostly you’ll be jumping for joy, as we wouldn’t expect anything less.
Next is the remake of Bob Clark’s BLACK CHRISTMAS, which (surprise, surprise) is being released on Christmas Day, December 25th. Last year WOLF CREEK opened on Christmas, and it made some good bank. I guess some of us who don’t want to sit through some happy horseshit will have another option this holiday season. And yes… sweet release date for said movie. Wouldn’t have expected anything else.
Finally, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION has finally landed a release date of September 7th, 2007! Is it just me,or is that HELLA days from now! Holy crap! I guess they figure they’ll make their moola after the summer movie rush, and that’s probably a good idea. But holy smokes, that’s a ways away. I was thinking an April or May release, but September? Wow.
