While a live-action Resident Evil television series continues to move forward at Netflix, the streaming service has revealed that they have another Resident Evil show in the works, this one a CG animated series called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Netflix even unveiled the opening scene for the series, which can be seen embedded above.
Here's the official synopsis:

Kennedy and Claire Redfield appear in this CG serialized drama, the first in series history! Don’t miss this new epic entertainment on a scale more spectacular than ever before!
Meanwhile, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will premiere on Netflix July 8th!
