Ryan Reynolds be my Canadian homeboy and he proved it by dating Canada’s pride Alanis Morissette. Granted, he hasn’t broken out into the A-list actor VAN WILDER had him destined to be, but dude’s still young.

It looks like he’s about to star alongside Sandra Bullock in THE PROPOSAL, a romantic comedy about a female boss who is confronted with deportation to Canada (represent!), but to avoid it, she makes a deal with her male assistant to fake a marriage so she can stay in the States. The plot to this movie sounds desperate to me. It’s too romantic comedy tryhardish. And what’s so bad about Canada? Oh wait, I remember. The legal drinking age isn’t 21 and guns are illegal.
