Rider & 300 MPAA’d

There’s always that spark of hope when you see a film’s trailer that’s slapped with a ‘this film is not yet rated’ that the film will be savage enough, and cool enough to rock that ever sought after R rating, because hey- we live in an R rated world, and PG-13 just doesn’t cut it.

got word on a couple of recently rated flicks from the MPAA today, and while I’m a tad disappointed, I’m not all that surprised. First up is GHOST RIDER, the Nicolas Cage starring super hero movie. Yup, you guessed it- PG-13, but get this: for

And our saving grace? Frank Miller’s 300 is rocking into theaters with a big fat R rating for graphic battle sequences throughout, some sexuality and nudity! Yes, it certainly appears as if this flick will have it all and a bowl full of jelly to boot! Just based on the rating alone, I’m getting pumped for that one! That, and Frank Miller’s awesomeness doesn’t help either.
