Rider’s Blog Updated

I know there’s a few mofos out there who are really f*ckin’ excited to check out Nic Cage as GHOST RIDER this February, either because they’re excited to see Cage rockin’ it with a full head of hair, or they’re just a fan of the original comic book character. For me, the effects are still at a so-so state (judging from the trailers alone), so I’m waiting to pass judgment until it’s officially completed. As with all comic book adaptations, it could go either way at this point.

Over the weekend they (Sony Pictures) posted a few updates to THE GHOST RIDER BLOG, mainly featuring clips of writer/director Mark Steven Johnson talking about how he and the producers cast Cage, Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes and Sam Elliott in their respective roles. My fav here is the one on Elliot, as they go into how, not only is this a horror movie, but it’s a western as well, and who better to cast than Mr. Cowboy himself? Exactly!

Every week the blog is updated, so be sure to check in every once and awhile to get your GHOST RIDER fill on, and prepare for that shite in theaters this President’s Day weekend.
