Jared told you a month ago that Image Entertainment was releasing CHROMESKULL: LAID TO REST 2 on September 20. We now know that the release will be on DVD and Blu-ray, plus we have the details on the discs, thanks to Fangoria. The cover art is pictured to the right. Special features on both versions will be as follows:

– Audio commentary by director/co-writer Robert Hall, co-writer Kevin Bocarde and stars Thomas Dekker and Brian Austin Green
– Making-of featurette
– Deleted scenes
– Bloopers

The indie slasher sequel to 2009’s LAID TO REST is once again directed by Robert Hall, who co-wrote the script with Kevin Bocarde. It stars Brian Austin Green, Owain Yeoman, Thomas Dekker, Mimi Michaels, Nick Principe, Danielle Harris, Gail O’Grady, Chris Nelson, Brett Wagner, Aimee Lynn Chadwick and  Angelina Armani (below).

ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 picks up three months after we last left ChromeSkull at the end of the original Laid to Rest. Tommy, who’s struggling to come to terms with his encounter with the masked killer, has now gone missing courtesy of the maniacal Preston, a mysterious player in the sequel with a sinister connection to ChromeSkull. Meanwhile, our killer has set his sights on a new girl, Jess, and after the young girl disappears, Detective King must race against the clock to find her and Tommy before it’s too late and try to put an end to ChromeSkull’s deadly legacy.
