We're just a few weeks out from the theatrical release of writer/director Rob Zombie's HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES/THE DEVIL'S REJECTS sequel 3 FROM HELL, and to help build the hype Zombie has unveiled the official poster for the film. The poster can be seen below and promises a film that will be packed with murder, madness, and mayhem.
There still isn't much of a synopsis available for 3 FROM HELL, as "sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS" seems to do the job just fine. We do know that the film will show us that Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) have been in prison since surviving the shootout at the end of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS. Surprisingly, those three are not the titular 3 FROM HELL. As the poster shows, this three are Otis, Baby, and new character Foxy, played by Richard Brake.
Moseley, Moon Zombie, Haig, and Brake are joined in the cast by Dee Wallace, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Danny Trejo, Daniel Roebuck, Clint Howard, Austin Stoker, Richard Edson, Emilio Rivera, David Ury, Pancho Moler, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Chaz Bono, Barry Bostwick, and Jossara Jinaro.
3 FROM HELL is coming to theatres for a three-night event on September 16, 17, and 18, "featuring the unrated version and unique special content nightly."
On night one, moviegoers will see a special video introduction from Rob Zombie with the first 50 attendees at each theater receiving an exclusive poster (while supplies last), on night two, audiences will be treated to a nearly 30-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, and on night three, moviegoers will experience the ultimate double feature including “3 From Hell” and “The Devil’s Rejects.”
