Aren’t you readers lucky, two LORDS OF SALEM news items in one day? Earlier Jared gave you a few new pictures, and not that long ago Rob Zombie sent in some more updates.
Today is the very last day of filming in the Salem location, and they are moving elsewhere tomorrow. The picture above was taken yesterday during the shoot, but even with them moving I am sure the updates will still come rolling in.
He stated:And so it ends. Today is the last day of filming on THE LORDS OF SALEM. Thank you to all in Salem that helped to make this film possible. See you at the movies.
He also added – We are not done yet, just done in Salem. Tomorrow we head back to LA to continue working on the film.
It must be bitter sweet for the cast and crew to be finished shooting in that location, but more work is to be done. I am pretty sure Rob will release a picture or pictures during the first day of the next part of shooting. He hasn’t stated how long is left with the shoot, can’t be more than a few weeks surely?
Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the “Big H Radio Team”.
A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, “a gift from the Lords”. She assumes it’s a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.
Later Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.
The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H Team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for BLOOD.
The cast includes the talents of Patricia Quinn, Sid Haig, Judy Geesonn, Bruce Davidson, Christopher Knight, Ken Foree, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, John Five, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Dee Wallace, Sheri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Barbara Crampton (below) and Jeff Daniel Phillips.
