Residents of Illinois – and the rest of the globe – listen up! At the beginning of August, Robert Englund will be attending Flashback Weekend in Chicago wearing his full Freddy Krueger makeup “one final time!” That’s an opportunity you just can’t resist.
Per the convention’s official site: “Flashback to Elm Street and have your photo taken with the man of your dreams, iconic horror actor Robert Englund in the make-up of his famous character, Freddy Krueger, one final time. Robert Englund’s “Freddy Krueger” make up will be designed and applied by FX master artist Robert Kurtzman in the same extensive process used in the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET films.”
Of course, to get your pic taken with Freddy will cost you an arm and a leg (he wouldn’t have it any other way), but it’s worth it if this is indeed the last time he’ll be donning the legendary makeup.
