Well ladies and gentlemen whether we want it or not HOSTEL 3 is happening. We’ve been keeping you updated on the project every step of the way so don’t expect that to change now. Today’s update isn’t anything groundbreaking but we’re going to run with it anyway so stay with me on this one.
It was just announced over at the official website for Robert Kurtzman’s Creature Corps that the FX company will actually be handling special effects and the like on HOSTEL 3. This doesn’t really come as much of a surprise considering Creature Corps is a division of Precinct 13, which is the company that handled FX work on the first HOSTEL. Keeping it all in the family, yo! It’s also worth noting that HOSTEL 3 director Scott Spiegel and Mr. Kurtzman have worked on numerous projects together in the past 30 years so this tag team is a no-brainer.
HOSTEL 3 revolves around a Vegas bachelor party that turns grisly when the groom learns that his longtime best friend has targeted him for ritual murder.
This little diddy is currently filming in Michigan, where according to Creature Crops ‘….the blood is flowing nicely.’ The film stars John Hensley, Thomas Kretschmann, Chris Coy, Skyler Stone, Brian Hallisay, Kip Pardue and Sarah Habel. Not much of a cast but let’s be honest… Is anybody really expecting much from HOSTEL 3? No? I didn’t think so… As always be sure to keep it here for any and all your HOSTEL news as we hear it!
