86 dudes to 1 girl…of course it’s PARADISE LOST!

As continues for Alex Proyas’ ambitious adaptation, Variety has it that ROCK OF AGES star Diego Boneta (seen right) is set to portray Adam in the tale of angelic warfare. Uh, as in Adam and Eve…the purported first man on Earth.

As you know by now, Boneta will join Bradley Cooper (Lucifer), Casey Affleck, Benjamin Walker, Djimon Hounsou, Camilla Belle (below), Callan McAullife and Dominic Purcell in the film. Word is Proyas is hell-bent on making a big-budget take on the 17th century poem. Whether or not it will be well received is another question altogether.

Due in late 2013 – PARADISE LOST tells the story of the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael (Walker) and Lucifer (Cooper), including the latter’s role in Adam and Eve’s fall from grace.
