FACE OFF: The JoBlo original series that puts two worthy foes in the ring for an epic clash! Whether it’s a pair of movies, actors, iconic characters, franchises, originals vs. remakes, directors, or whatever else we can think of, it’s time for a showdown! Today, we pit perhaps the two greatest Sylvester Stallone movies of all time against each other in a brutal Face Off: 1976’s Rocky vs First Blood (1982)!

Stallone’s two most popular cinematic characters, Rocky Balboa and John Rambo, debuted in between 1976 (Rocky) and 1982 (First Blood) and went on to generate a number of sequels (and even spinoffs in Rocky’s case with the Creed films) that have lasted for decades. But, one of the most common debates is which was the best of the original iterations of these characters. Its Rocky vs First Blood? It’s a divisive question for Sly fans, so make sure to let us know in the comments which you prefer!
