Rogue deals horror

reports this morning that Rogue Pictures has just signed a 2 picture deal with ‘hot’ horror screenwriter Scott Milam. And I say ‘hot’ as in he hasn’t really done much horror that’s been made

The first project that Rogue snagged is an intense horror film involving sideshow freaks and other carnival horrors. Awesome. We need more freak movies. No title for that one yet, but I think GETTING FREAKY would be a good one, or even GET YOUR FREAK ON. Both work quite well.

The other flick Milam signed up for is a yet to be written, ‘blind script’ deal. You don’t see that very often, so this dude must be ‘hot’ for Rogue to believe in him that much.

Milam’s earlier script entitled WICHITA, which was picked up by Dimension, has Darren Lynn Bousman attached to direct. With the success of SAW III just on the horizon, I’d say this may be the ‘hottest’ horror ticket around. And if it’s a documentary about the town in Kansas, it will quite possibly be the scariest movie ever made. Bring it!

And yes, this chick has nothing to do anything. But it’s nice, no?
