Rogue snaps up 420

Today Dimension Films announced that their killer croc film (and Greg ‘WOLF CREEK‘ McLean’s second film), ROGUE would be hitting theatres April 20, which gives the film that much more time than what Hollywood Pictures pulled with PRIMEVAL, which went over like a fart. At your gramma’s. You know, appeared suddenly, caused a big stink (well, not really), then disappeared back into the ether from where is came, all the while embarrassing your dear grandmother (and those in attendance)?

Hopefully the same doesn’t happen with McLean’s effort, which really has no competition other than Universal‘s THE KINGDOM and David Arquette’s THE TRIPPER (though to be fair, Arquette’s film will be in limited release). ROGUE (not to be confused with the Jet Li flick of the same name) stars Michael Vartan, Radha Mitchell, Stephen Curry, John Jarratt, Heather Mitchell, Mia Wasikoska and Sam Worthington.
