With all of the horror-based video games making the leap to the big screen these days, it seems only fair that somebody should make that happen the other way around. And who better to get that going than one George A. Romero.
IGN.com reports that Hip Interactive has inked a deal with Living Dead Productions to work on Romero themed video games. Can you imagine getting a chance to jump into the mix and see how you fare battling zombies in NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD or DAWN OF THE DEAD? Fun Times!
While no specific details have yet been announced on what projects will be pursued, Arindra Singh, President and CEO of Hip Interactive had this to say about the deal:
Horror fans have been searching for the ultimate experience in gaming, and we intend to deliver it to them with the tremendous creative input of legendary director, George A. Romero, and Living Dead Productions.
Put me on the waiting list.
