Romero Talks Dead2!

We knew the movie kicked ass, and deserved a better theatrical reception than it originally recieved- which makes it a pleasant- yet not entirely an unexpected- surprise to hear that da man himself, George A. Romero, is talking about the sequel to LAND OF THE DEAD!

Here’s exactly what Romero said about the idea that LAND 2 will begin exactly where LAND ended: “Frankly, I was ok with that, because I’d much rather wait for something to happen. If they nuke Washington, then I’ve got something. It won’t be in April but it might now be August or something. I hope to God we don’t have to do the winter again, but there’s a real buzz happening now about a sequel.”

Let’s all hope for a summer shoot! The sooner it’s made, the sooner we get to enjoy it! I for one am totally stoked to hear about this sequel, while it does bum me out that his adaptations of both Stephen King novels FROM A BUICK 8 and THE GIRL WHO LOVED TOM GORDON will be pushed back even longer.
