Got a press release today from Rue Morgue Magazine about their Toronto based Halloween madness called Chinese Torture Theater. It all starts October 28th and here’s what you can expect:
CHINESE TORTURE THEATRE will feature a caustic cocktail of Asian-themed performances including Fetish Freaks From the Far East, the Rue Morgue Go-Go Ghouls, Living Reptiles and Dancing Dragons, multiple DJs on two levels, magicians, movies and much more. Attendees can also expect a slew of ghastly giveaways culminating in RUE MORGUE’s legendary Midnite Costume Contest, which produces some of the best and outrageous costumes ever seen by human eyes, many of which are developed months in advance for this exclusive event.
Sounds like fun, and like they say on the late night TV ads…but wait, there’s more!
This Halloween RUE MORGUE also celebrates the launch of RUE MORGUE CINEMA and its flagship production, THE EYES OF EDWARD JAMES, as an Official Selection at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival.
Well done guys and gals. Well done! Click here to get your tickets and check out one of the best genre mags you’re ever going to read.
