TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES concept art featuring Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang leaked online last year, and with the two mutated henchmen set to appear in the sequel from EARTH TO ECHO director Dave Green, many fans have wondered if the disembodied alien brain from Dimension X will also be in the film.
Now, take this with a grain of salt, but a source close to the production has told Cinemablend that Krang will indeed make his live-action movie debut in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2. The site's source says a scene was filmed last week "involving a number of extras and the character's arrival on Earth through a portal of some sort." Krang made his first appearance on the original animated TMNT series, and formed an alliance with Shredder after the warlord came to Earth.
Back in August, TMNT director Jonathan Liebesman and producers Bradley Fuller and Andrew Form said they want to introduce Dimension X in the sequel, so I'm not too surprised a rumor has surfaced that Krang will appear in the film. If true, who do you want to provide the voice of Krang?
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 will be in theaters on June 3, 2016.
