It sounds like Marvel's Captain Britain might be heading to the small screen, based on a recent tweet by Ciara McAvoy, a movie poster artist. McAvoy teased a television project based on the comic book character on her social media account earlier this week by tweeting "Who will be playing Brian Braddock in the upcoming tv series #CaptainBritain?#Marvel Stay tune!"

McAvoy also had this to say after being asked about her tweet:

I am being paid to do the promo poster so yes I’d say this is really happening. It might take a while before the announcement (either early 2017 or late 2016) They’re making a sizzle reel and it’s gonna be awesome. I can’t reveal anything yet but hopefully I’ll be able to soon. Waiting for the go ahead from the co-producer.

Captain Britain may look like a Captain America knock-off, but he's not just a British version of the character. Although he does have superhuman strength, speed and reflexes, he can also fly at supersonic speeds, and has ties to English folklore and mythology. If a Captain Britain TV series is indeed in the works, who would you like to see play him?
