MoviesOnline scored some new images from the zombie/comedy FIDO today, and all signs point to awesome so far! Who wouldn’t want their own pet zombie? I know I could find some uses for one!

THE MATRIX RELOADED), Bill Connelly (TIMELINE) and is directed by Andrew Currie (NIGHT OF THE LIVING). According to IMDb, here’s what you can expect from our man FIDO:

Timmy Robinson’s best friend in the whole wide world is a six-foot tall rotting zombie named Fido. But when FIDO eats the next-door neighbor, Mom and Dad hit the roof, and Timmy has to go to the ends of the earth to keep Fido a part of the family. A boy-and-his-dog movie for grown ups, “FIDO” will rip your heart out.

Sure, right, one of those feel-good coming of age movies. With zombies. Hey, it worked for SHAUN OF THE DEAD, right? So why not here? Plus, what a frickin’ cool concept! Pet zombies! I know there’s something just wrong there somewhere, but it just sounds too cool for school. It also makes me think of a little movie called CHUD II: BUD THE CHUD. Remember Bud? He was such a friendly zombie CHUD thing…

Anyway, look for FIDO in theaters sometime this year, and click HERE to check out the whole gallery!
