An unlikely tandem seems to be coming together for the long talked about Guillermo del Toro-directed HAUNTED MANSION, as The Wrap learned that Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in the supernatural family haunter. With his directorial debut, LOST RIVER, landing in theaters and VOD this weekend, Gosling has developed a close friendship with del Toro, who moderated a panel with Gosling at this year’s SXSW Film Festival.
That’s all we really know right now, so hang in there for more on this one as we get it. HAUNTED MANSION has been in development at Disney for quite sometime with its announcement first coming back at Comic-Con in 2010. It has certainly been a long road for the film, that’s for sure. D.V. DeVincentis is currently working on the script.
